Sung Seek Moon is an Assistant Professor in School of Social Work. Dr. Moon received his doctoral degree in

Social Work from the University of Georgia in 2002. His major research interest is in immigrant families’ mental

health and substance use. He was awarded the Diversity Supplement grant from NIDA for training him to extend

his experiences to addictive disorders and the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying the vulnerability for these

disorders. His current project is on racial differences in substance uses among small business workers-the role of

help seeking behavior.
