Course Information |
Dr. Callicutt
joined the University of Texas
at Arlington faculty in 1968. He was one of the faculty members who
greeted the first MSSW student cohort in September 1968. He chaired the
Social Welfare Policy and Services Sequence, was appointed Assistant Dean for
Academic Affairs in 1970 and Associate Dean in 1972. Dr. Callicutt was
promoted to Professor in 1973. He served as Acting (Interim) Dean in
1987-88 and at other times including 1992-93.
He was Visiting
Professor as Lancashire Polytechnic (now the University of Central Lancashire)
in Preston, United Kingdom in 1985-86. Dr. Callicutt was the chief
architect and coordinator of UT Arlington distance graduate social work
education programs at seven sites in collaboration with other universities in
Texas.
