Elten Briggs received his Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma in the summer of 2006. His research interests include business-to-business services, volunteerism, and minority advertising. Elten’s research has been published in the Journal of Service Research and the Journal of Services Marketing. He has forthcoming research in the Journal of Advertising and the Journal of Nonprofit and Public Sector Marketing. He has been honored as the “Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant” in the Price College of Business (2003), and he was the first place winner of the 2005 Society for Marketing Advances dissertation proposal competition with his entry, “An Examination into the Nature of Satisfaction Formation in a Continually Delivered Business Service Context”.
